can't remembered what isit called. i tink it is 腐皮卷 or something! it is my dad's favourite as well.

Lo Mai Gai. looks kinda gross this close-up but it is really delicious.

My 2 hungry frens!

Astons Specialities! opp Katong Shopping Centre
check out the queue...

Chicken Chop in BBQ sauce. serving's kinda pathetic. i was w dan n vannie that day and theirs was much more 丰富 la.. they ordered ribeyes if i nv rem wrongly..and mine totally paled in comparision!!!

anw i felt abit retarted queuing up all the way and all i did was to order a plate of chicken chop. very smart of me. feel like shooting myself seriously.haha should've tasted their beef/steak or at least some of their specialities. cant rem how much it was but it was definitely less than $10.i could get twice the portion at the same price at any regular coffeeshop la =x

teh-chino iced. (pls ignore eileen's failed attempt to add some spice to the picture)
Available at Simpang Bedok Frizz's Grill. $1.80 i tink. they have cheese fries, kebab, pratas. etc as well. Simpang rox cuz you can eat till you feel five months pregnant and you spend less than $10 there.

Taiwanese Strawberry Egg Tart. Around $1.20. it is really cute looking. not the normal kind of egg tart you see in the streets. They have a variety of flavours like blueberry, chocolate, peanut etc! tried it when i was working in Tanjong Pagar during post A levels :)

Happy Cheese-dough Donuts! available at TAKA :) i mean dont you jus feel happy looking at it? eating it makes you feel even happier. haha. it is not too sweet because the cheese dough kind of 'neutralises' the sweetness of the white chocolate coating. anw they dont hav queues too. so lazy bums like me adore it to bits bits bits.

CRAB-MEAT AND TUNA SUSHI FROM SUSHI TEI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
okie actually i m jus kidding.this is the sushi that me and my dear friend esther leong made while i was over at her house sometime last year. it looks kinda crappy and scary but it is edible :)
super retro tin they used to fill my Iced Yuan Yang. hmmm.. makes me feel like i'm part of some drama in the 50s and 60s' setting with slow old-fashioned music playing in the background~~~~~~~~

i got a shock when they sent this over to my table cuz it is really THICK. like 2 times the size of any normal French Toast you can find in HK cafes. haha. personally i felt that it was abit dry.
i still prefer .....

Kim Gary's !! :)
OH. and the bestest Carbonara ..available at Cafe Cartel :)

my my. it is like midnight and looking at all these pics are making me real hungry =x
gg chinatown w my cell tml :) i better get some sleep cuz its gg to be a long day tml.. lessons all e way till 5! okie till then, peeps :)

My Very First Food Blog Entry :)
Xing Wang's Triple Flavoured Ice (mango/red bean/strawberry). $7.40 after GST plus service charge :) it is mountain high so if you have like 3-4 people willing to share this is definitely a good treat for yourselves! not super fantastic but i love it cuz it is definitely a better alternative than having ice kacang n enduring the horrible heat at coffee shops :) its super affordable considering that you get nice cushion seats, music and air-con. and xing wang is opened 24hrs on fri/sat/sun nights! good supper hangout. ooh and i adore atap chees (is that how you spell it?) n i finished all of them cuz those at my table
hate it. HAHA.

okie initially there was 4 of 'em, guess where the other 2 went. hahaha greedy me.
donuts a.k.a killer rings (in this case i shall call it killer buns cuz there's no hole in the middle) surprisingly they tasted not bad. you know the mentality that donuts from supermarkets taste stale n all? haha truth is,the dough is soft and the fillings inside not too sweet. comes in 4 flavours: lemon/blueberry/strawberry/orange. got it from Carre Four, 4 for only $3.50. and my dad bought it at a buy-one-get-one free offer! so 8killer buns for only $3.50!! super cheap!! most suitable for sweet-tooths whom are lazy and unwilling to spend hrs rotting n queuing for donut factory.
got myself another top from fareast :) $33. so unlikely of me to spend so much on a top.. but i really liked it and it was the last piece. haha so after tinking n tinking, i jus got it!
gosh monday once again.. its week 3 already...time to hit the books !! aja aja :) blessed wk ahead peeps! more food entries up soon :)
